Church Family Update...

Bible Classes... Mike Wood is teaching the adult bible class through the month of May. His class is an overview of the Book of Luke and brings up many things that we commonly skip over. Bible Classes for all ages begin at 9am every Sunday.

Today is an important Sunday for our congregation as the elders present our Mission/Outreach Plan for the 2018-19… Please study what the elders have put together with the input of so many. Our shepherds welcome all questions. They ask us to pray and start thinking about how generous we can be on June 3 and June 10 this year. God has really blessed us to make a difference so much greater than what we could have imagined. Your copy of the Mission/Outreach Plan will be in your mailbox, but guests and those that want extra copies will find them on the Welcome Desk and Encouragement Table.

The Bless Your Neighbor Handbook… If you need a copy of this booklet you may pick one up in the lobby today. You may turn in a prayer card to any elder.

Hayden Roller Coaster Tour… What does the “After Shock” in Silverwood, “El Torro” at Six Flags in New Jersey, and “T-Express” in Seoul, South Korea all have in common? They are all roller coasters made in Hayden, Idaho. The Senior Saints next activity will be to tour the factory of Rocky Mountain Construction in Hayden on June 29th. Mark your calendar and watch for further details coming soon.

Retirement Party… Congratulations David & Linda Bruner! Saturday, May 26th from 2:00-4:00pm. Come celebrate Dave & Linda’s retirement from the workforce! They have looked forward to this chapter in their life for a long time.

Please keep Jeff, Kara, and all of our teens who went to the Xenos Youth Rally in Richland this weekend in your prayers as they travel home this afternoon. Parents can pick their kids up around 4:00pm.
The Youth Barn will be open from the time school gets out until 5:00pm THIS Wednesday for any 5th-12th graders who want to come hang out and play some cards, board games, or video games. Bring a friend!
All teens are encouraged to join us for Cardboard Box City on Friday, May 18. We will be spending the night outside to help raise awareness and funds for Family Promise. More details are on the youth board.
Everyone is welcome to participate in Relay for Life on Saturday, May 19th. We will be walking at the Post Falls Middle School from Noon to 10:00pm. See Tabby Cutler for info or to sign up for a walking time.

Family Spotlight...

Is the Stevensville Mission Trip a Possibility For You?
Our group is leaving at 9am Saturday, June 2 and returning by 3:30 on Sunday afternoon, June 3. We will host a community picnic for the Stevensville congregation that has about 20 in attendance. We don’t know whether to expect 20 or 200...most likely it will be somewhere in between. Being part of the adventure is never knowing for sure how something new will work out in advance and just praying and hoping God will bless us with success.
Indicate on Your Communication Card today if you might want to go on this trip (we’ll have more info about housing accommodations in a few days). But for now we just want to know who wants the Mobile Mission experience!

And please complete a Communication Card.
